Omaha has gotten a little more interesting in the past couple months. No longer will we rely on the same choices of Starbucks, Scooters, and Caribou, because now we have a new coffee chain in town, Ziggi’s Coffee. Ziggi’s isn’t new as it is a chain that exists elsewhere, especially in Colorado.
I recently got the chance to visit this establishment twice and I am ready to give my opinions and reviews. When I plugged in the directions to my phone I was surprised at how tucked away the building was. It doesn’t really face a busy street and is kind of winded back into a developing area. Upon getting there I did see it, but if i wasn’t inherently looking for it, I probably would never have seen it. I’m interested to find out if this will affect their business, which would be sad, because it is actually a cute building and a worth-while spot. I think they will have to continue marketing and pushing if they want to gain traction. Maybe the street view issue will change as the area and strip malls develop in the area.
As far as the actual product and service, I am pleased to say I would go back. I have yet to try their coffee, but their menu does intrigue me. They have a diverse menu of coffee, tea, Redbull infusions, Italian sodas, refreshers, and so much more. Their diverse menu is what I really think will draw consumers in. There is truly something for everyone. I don’t remember the exact price of my infusions that I got, but I remember it being reasonable and less, if not the same as other coffee chains around.
As far as service, I went a few weeks into their opening, so what I have to say about the service may not be adequate in today’s context. Obviously there was room to improve, but they had just opened. So take it with a grain of salt when I say they were a bit slow, but overall kind and accurate. I think that they will improve, if they haven’t already.
Overall, my drinks were tasty and I would definitely go back. I hope everyone that reads this gives it a try and this place has their moment to shine. Best of luck Ziggi’s Omaha.
