The Elkhorn South girls cross country competes at their very first meet of the year at Walnut Grove on Sept. 2. Seniors Emily Tichota, Josie Almquist, and Marie Woodford and Junior Aly Sherman competed in the varsity division and started the year off strong. “It was so fun to run our very first meet at Walnut Grove because the race is not too difficult and all the green trees make the course super pretty,” Sherman said.
