Practicing for their show titled Gold Rush, senior Cullen McGee, sophomore Jonathan Wu, and part of the drumline diligently go through their various movements on Aug. 31 in anticipation of the first home game coming up. The Gold Rush consisted of different movements all relating to the California Gold Rush from 1848-1855. Additionally, new section leaders were chosen who shaped their various sections to perfection. “I wanted to give back to the band and experience leadership while shaping the underclassmen,” McGee said.
