Just before season 3 came out, Outer Banks found that the show got renewed for season 4. Season 3 was all about the pogues living on a deserted island for a month only to be supposedly rescued from a very untrustworthy person. After their friend Kiara was captured by Singh, a very bad man that wanted to find this lost treasure, the pogues were on the lookout to rescue her. After they rescued her, they went back to the OBX while John B stayed to find out his father was alive. With all the challenges that the pogues had to face, they found the treasure at the end of the season. The season ends with a 18 month fast forward after the pogues find the gold. All of them look happy and are celebrated by their town for finding this treasure. While they were there, a mysterious man asked the pogues for a favor, finding the lost treasure of Blackbeard. 

Now this is where season 4 will begin . It is supposedly true that the first episode will recap what happened in those 18 months that were fast forwarded. Season 4 will also explore the relationships that all the pogues developed in season three with John B and Sara, Pope and Cleo, and one of the fan favorites, JJ and Kiara. All the cast members will return for season 4. The fans will definitely expect it to be more like season one because they now will reflect as they have the gold. But, Chase Stokes, who plays John B, said, “This is just the beginning of the story.” 

Netflix has posted the trailer and many fans have too many speculations. But they will just have to wait until October 10th for the first part and November 7 for the second part.
