Fall Into Fashion

Fall is upon us, and with that comes the best fashion of the year. Fall fashion is a time of finding unique ways to style the simplest pieces.

The Zoe Report writer Aemilia Madden puts fall fashion in the most simplest terms, “For anyone who enjoys the art of putting together a full-on outfit, this is the time to shine.”

A classic fall look is a chunky sweater and jeans with chelsea boots. While this is a timeless piece; adding accessories and other pieces ups the look.

This is the season to play with pieces. It’s a time where to utilize every piece in the closet; by mixing and matching summer and winter pieces.

Layering is an easy way to up the fashion game. When it comes to layering each piece individually can be boring, but when put together they create something amazing.

Combining a flowy slip dress with a chunky sweater and chelsea boots, elevate the outfit. It turns that one season dress into a multi season piece.

This season is all about texture and tailoring. Which are two important elements of fashion; that people tend to ignore.

According to Vogue writer Maya Singer, “Texture is all about feeling, and fashion’s

texture obsession is all about the clothes that make a woman feel not just special, but extraordinary.” Incorporating texture into an outfit elevates not only the look, but one’s confidence.

A jacket is one way that texture can be incorporated into a boring look. Adding a cotton candy coat or a fringe leather jacket is an easy way to bring out a whole new person.

According to Vogue writer Maya Singer, “From the boardroom to the ballroom, a little worsted wool never looked so good.” Incorporating tailor may seem like a difficult task. Although, it’s one way of taking a traditional look and creating a new style.

Traditionally tailoring is often seen as masculine, but it is the best way to look business chic. This can be done by simply adding an over-sized blazer over jeans and a t-shirt.

Fall is only here for a few short months, so now is the time to show off new looks.
